The conversation goes this way:
me: writing is a good thing pero you can't construct buildings by writing. haha.
nagpapractice din naman ako ng drawing... hearts. haha
friend: just practice and kahit di naman drawing you can do art through many things. ako ngayon into LOMOGRAPHY...
me: nosebleed. what's lomography?
friend: wah!!! it's film photography... pano ba?!?!? wait
click the link, that's lomography...
me: i see. it has something to do with photography pala... amazing. HAHAHA
Then he showed me a link and I also researched at Wikipedia to understand further. Here's an explanation from Wikipedia.
Similar to Eastman Kodak's concept of the "Kodak moment," the Lomography motto of "don't think, just shoot" presumes spontaneity, close-ups, and ubiquity, while deemphasizing formal technique. Typical lomography cameras are deliberately low-fidelity and inexpensively constructed. Some cameras make use of multiple lenses and rainbow-colored flashes, or exhibit extreme optical distortions and even light leaks.
This is so cool. I mean, when we are taking pictures we would usually pose and look our best but with Lomography its anything, just take the picture. There are actually a lot of people, that are hooked with it, but they just don't know it's called Lomography. HAHA. Pathetic me. I don't know with you but I'm definitely gonna try taking pictures without thinking.
